Join us at the GOLDEN ERA RECORDED MUSIC PROJECT every Wednesday at 7 PM, for an ongoing pursuit of MUSICAL GREATNESS on ANALOG LP RECORDS from 1948 to 1988!
Our GERM adventure for this Wednesday evening will start with the lyrical JAZZ HARMONICA of TOOTS THIELEMANS and the sometimes lyrical jazz piano of BILL EVANS.
A moment will be devoted to an EDISON RECORD of 1895 and the invention of the phonograph almost 150 years ago.
The summer of 1899 produced a rich harvest for SIR EDWARD ELGAR in his SEA PICTURES. We will hear DAME JANET BAKER and SIR JOHN BARBIROLLI perform in a stunning LP.
CONNIE FRANCIS sends us home in ITALIAN!
We send out a Zoom link for the GERM Project every week by email. If you'd like to be added to the mailing list, drop us a line here.
