After a 1 week hiatus to allow staff to attend the final concert of the LAKE GEORGE MUSIC FESTIVAL, GERM starts again with a brief ride on a STEAM LOCOMOTIVE from 1953! A common sound back in the day, now gone forever!

BILLY TAYLOR & TRIO have emerged from my VINYL VAULT on MERCURY . We will hear 2 numbers from the NOLA PENTHOUSE, NYC 1962.

The VAULT has yielded a GEM: CAFE LENA in 1972 and we will hear LENA herself and others on LP!

The BIG ENCHILADA tonight is the finale of MAHLER'S FIRST SYMPHONY. A 1951 LP with BRUNO WALTER and the PHILHARMONIC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA OF N.Y.

Time permitting, we will close with the KLEZMER CONSEVATORY BAND.
