HERE COMES THE SUN from ABBEY ROAD (BEATLES) and the BEACH BOYS ENDLESS SUMMER start us off in the right place tonight.

Then THREE JAZZ PIANO GREATS: Duke ELLINGTON duetting with BILLY STRAYHORN in a very rare LP from the BOB CUMMINGS BEQUEST and maybe the greatest of them all, NINA SIMONE live at THE VILLAGE GATE!

Our MAHLER FIFTH SYMPHONY celebration continues after the demons and nature sounds of the 3rd movement with a complete shift to the gentle zephyrs of LOVE and TENDERNESS in the ADAGIO (for strings alone)

We continue our exploration of BEETHOVEN at the keyboard with his 2nd PIANO SONATA from very early in his artistic life, played by WILHELM BACKHAUS.
