Join us for our Golden Era Recorded Music Project, Wednesdays at 7 PM, as we explore music LIVE ON LP RECORDS From the great ANALOG SPAN, 1948-1988.
Our opening sequence will feature a composer's heartbeat, an African denizen of the jungle and a dying jazz great!
NEIL DIAMOND'S 1979 album SEPTEMBER MORN will contribute 3 terrific songs, including I'M A BELIEVER. FRANK SINATRA in the unusual role of BETA DOG will lead us into IGOR STRAVINSKY'S EBONY (Clarinet) CONCERTO performed by the WOODY HERMAN BAND. A very early piece by DVORAC, NOTTURNO, will bring to our ears unforgettable melody.
AND an early Haydn symphonic finale will show us how OLD PAPA had some head scratching work to do.
We send out a link for the Zoom meeting every Wednesday by email! Please contact us and let us know if you'd like to be added to the mailing list.
See you all at 7 pm TONIGHT!
