The Project continues with spectacular musical sounds for the Fourth of July.
FIREWORKS! The word conjures images of vivid displays of color painted against the night sky on a July evening. Translate the same effects into music and you have the astonishing sonic creations for full orchestra by composers from 1750 to the present day.
We will astonish ourselves with BIG music by Handel, Wagner, Glass, Mahler, Ives and Dame Ethyl Smyth! There is NO LIMIT to the acoustic potential of the SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, and these five men and one woman will amaze you with their conjuring magic!
The event is free (from 7 to 8 pm); dessert and tea will be served.
